REPORTED MISSING
We regret to report that Warrant Officer R. O. Clee RAF, son of Mr. Lewis John Clee of Pontlliw and nephew of Mr. W. D. Clee of Tanywern Lane, has been reported missing. Warrant Officer Clee was a night fighter pilot and was on operations from North Africa. He joined the RAF in July 1940 after graduating B.Sc. at Swansea University College and qualified as a pilot in January 1941. We take this opportunity to join host of friends in tendering our sympathy to the family and our sincere hope that good news of his safety will soon be forthcoming.
